54 Beach Road

The house at 54 Beach Road is a single storey timber and tile structure built in the Federation Bungalow architectural style. The house was constructed sometime in the 1940s after 1941, as Lot 207, the land this house sits on, was vacant and owned by William Gibson. By 1950 the house owned by William and Muriel Elliot. Sadly in September 1950, William passed away after a long illness (reference). At this time, the residential address was 15 Beach Road. 

Originally, Beach Road was known as Swamp Road. The name change occurred before the 1920s.
