Gem Scones

Ingredients

1 1/2 cupfuls self raising flour

Tablespoonful butter

Pinch salt

Tablespoonful sugar

1 egg well beaten

1 cupful milk

Instructions

Rub flour, butter, salt, and sugar together, add egg and lastly milk. Have gem irons hot, drop a piece of butter in each cup, then the batter. 

Bake for about 10 minutes in a hot oven.
