Peas in Turnip Cups

Ingredients
1 lb. green peas
A number of small turnips
1 tablespoon of cooked ham (more if liked)
Salt & pepper
large nut of butter
Well seasoned stock
Instructions
Sweeten to taste some well seasoned stock and in it boil as many small turnips as required. Take out turnips, hollow out centres and keep the latter for stew or salad. Steam till tender some fresh green peas. To peas (weighed shelled), add ham, and a large nut of butter. Toss together and pile in turnip cups. Serve both with grilled chops or steak.
