(1818-1850s). William arrived in 04/1842 on the Diadem. He married on 05/1842 at Australind to Maria Lennard (1820-). Maria was married again on 03/11/1857 to Charles Davis in Toodyay. Their children were a son (1842-), Elizabeth (1843-) who was born in Australind, Maria (1844-1844), William (1845-), Henrietta (1847-) and Charles (1850-). William was a Shoemaker in Bunbury in 1843 and farmed at Picton. In Toodyay, he was a shoemaker by 1848 and had the licensee of the "Royal Oak" inn, which was taken over by his brother John in 1850. Employed ten ticket of leave men (mostly shoemakers) at Perth 1851-1853.
