HIGGINS, Henry William

Henry died in Picton. He was the son of William and Sarah. He arrived on 06/05/1830 on the Britannia, with his parents. Henry married on 01/04/1854 in Bunbury to Lavinia Gardiner (1837/8-01/06/1891). Lavinia was the daughter of Reuben. Their children were William (1855-1930), Lavinia Susannah (Jane) (1856-), Anne Eliza (1858-), Susannah Maria (around 1861-1935), Reuben Gardiner died 1928, David Henry (1866-1926), Alfred George (-1931), Hanha Sellaa (1870-), Madeline Lissette(-1934), Henry Charles (-1951), Mary Jane (1894-), Sarah who lived for two years and Christine. Henry owned a Perth Town Lot in 1851 and then went to the Wellington district by 1868, where he had 92 acres. A Vasse farmer in the 1860's and 1870's, with Edward and Frederick at "Springfield Farm" Minninup. He employed two tickets of leave men in 1867 and 1869. He was a member of the Church of England.
