HOUGH, James

Jame arrived on 18/03/1841 on the Parkfield. He married on 12/1845 to Ann Hurst (1830-). Ann was the daughter of Abraham and Ann. Ann arrived on 10/04/1842 on the Diadem. Their children were William (1847-), Elizabeth (1848-), Mary Ann (1850-), Edwin (1852), Thomas (1855-), Samuel (1857-), Sarah Ann (1858), Mary (Maria) (1860-), Phoebe, Ada, Joseph, James and George, some were born in Bunbury. In Bunbury, James was a carter in the 1840s and a sawyer in the 1860s. He lived in Collie in the 1870s as a labourer. James employed three tickets of leave men during 1864 to 1871. He was a Dardanup farmer in 1877.
