Abraham was born in England. He arrived on 10/4/1842 on the Diadem with his wife and eight children. He was married in the U. K. to Ann Howlett (1807-03/07/1860). Ann died in Bunbury. Their children were John, who died at sea, Sarah (1828-), Basil (1828-), Ann (1830-), Elizabeth (1834-), Alice (1835-), Abraham (1838-) and Thomas (1840-). A tailor by trade, Abraham became a farmer in Bunbury.
