PEAD, Alexander William

(19/04/1810-09/09/1879).

He was the son of William and Eliza. He died in Cossack. Alexander married Catherine Healy (1844) in Geraldton on 09/05/1871. She arrived on 05/08/1868. Children William (1872-1873), Alexander (1874-1874), Fred Walcott (1875), Alexander (1876-1886). Surviving the loss of the Albatross wrecked off Dongara in 1868. Later he became a ship's carpenter in 1873. Set up as a storekeeper in Cossack and bequeathed $1000 to his widow, who ran a boarding house in Cossack from 1886 to 1889. His religion was Roman Catholic.
