Born in Ireland died in Claremont. Daughter of William Joshua and Margaret, she is said to have run away from home and was disinherited by her grandfather. Children were Margaret Jane (1862-1926), Emma (1863-1932), Fanny (1865-1922), Charles Edward (1867-1943), William Joshua (1869-1936), Alice (1870-1955), Hannah (1873-1948), Edith (1875-1963), Rebecca (1877-1920), Evaline Mary (1879-1946), Norman Clement (1890-1959). He was a shepherd for James Payne of Capel, later was manager of Payne'sPayne's properties. He leased Capel Farm until 1870. He was contracted to supply horses for the Bunbury and Busselton mail coaches three trips weekly. Established Capel Inn (Gallon License), sold to John Sampson, who sold it to T. Larkin. He employed nine ticket of leave men in 1865 to 1871. He nominated his cousins William and Ann Killpatrick In 1865. He was a scholar at Bluecoat School of London. He was a member of The Church of England.
