He died in Bunbury. He arrived in Australia as an Enrolled Pensioner Guard with his family. He was married to Catherine Maher. He was formerly Lance Sergeant of the 99th Regiment. Stationed at Bunbury, he was granted Lot P.I. and also owned Town Lots in 1855 and 1858. He was a Poundkeeper in 1865. His wife applied for her sister Mary Maher (20 years single) to Tipperary, Ireland, to be a migrant.
