URQUHART, Isabel. Isabel was the daughter of William and Rachel. She was possibly born in St Johns, Newfoundland. She was a school teacher at Busselton between 1879 and 1880 and at Brunswick between 1881 and 1890. She made voyages between Bunbury, Fremantle and Albany and possibly one overseas journey returning 03/11/1884 on the Mirzapore. 


URQUHART, William (1814-26/12/1885). William was born in Scotland and died in Perth. William was a member of the 11th Battalion of the Royal Artillery. He arrived as an Enrolled Pensioner Guard on the convict transport ship Ramilles on 07/08/1954 with his wife and children. He married Rachel King (24/05/1819-04/03/1887) on 01/04/1840 in St Johns, Newfoundland. She was born at St. Johns and died 04/03/1887 at Perth. Their children were Alexander James, Mary, Kate, Rachel (1855-) and Isabel. William was formerly a sergeant of the Royal Artillery. At Fremantle he was a gardener between 1876 and 1878. On 18/10/1879 he was granted Wellington Location 402 at Bunbury. 


UTTON Charles A. (04/03/1831-). Charles completed his sentence as a convict. He arrived on 14/07/1867 on the Norwood. He married Magdeline (Maud) (1834-07/10/1883)  in the United Kingdom. Magdalene died in Bunbury and arrived in Western Australia on 29/01/1871 on the Strathmore from London to join Charles. Their children were Sydney (1861-), Charles (1863-) and Emily (1864-). Charles was an accountant in Bunbury in the 1870s. He established  a rope factory in 08/1870 known as Messrs Utton & Co. He employed 14 ticket of leave men on occasions between 1870 and 1881. In 1875 he was the secretary and librarian of the Perth Mechanics Institute.
