He was born in London. He was the son of Frederick William. Frederick married in 1880 to Edith Emma Frewer. She was the daughter of Rev. George Frewer (of Eton College). Frederick arrived in Western Australia on 25/04/1888 aboard Brittania with his wife. Frederick was formerly of St. Luke's Old Charlton (1876), Curate of St. Philip's, Cheam (1881-5), Vicar of HaIling. Later, Frederick was appointed Dean of Perth (W.A.) 1888-1904. He was a Bishop of Bunbury and was active in the oversight of the North-West until 1910. He was even Manager of aboard Perth Girls Orphanage and other Church buildings. A talented violinist, member of Freemason Lodge. Frederick favoured High Church. He later travelled to England in 1905 to raise funds. Frederick resigned in 1917. Educated at Merchant Taylors School London and St John's College Oxford BA 1876, HA 1879.
