Thomas arrived on 10/04/1842 on the Diadem. He married in 08/1842 in Picton to Mary Lyons (1825-18/06/1920), who died in Bunbury. The daughter of Michael and Eleanor (maiden name Gallop). She also arrived on 10/04/1842 on the Diadem. Their children were John (1843-), Thomas (1845-), James (1847-), Phoebe (1848-), David (1850-), William (1851-), Edward (1852-), Alice Bridget (1854-), Mary Ann (1856-), Elizabeth (1858-), Mark and Michael (1861 as twins -1863), Celia Jane (1863-1958), Mercy Rose (1865-1940) and David WaIter (1870-). Listed in Bunbury as a farmer in the 1860s, he applied for a pastoral lease in 1860 for 500 acres in "Riverdale" between Brunswick and Australind. He employed two ticket of leave men in 1874 and 1877.
