MASLIN, Thomas Neat

(22/07/1824-18/03/1909).

He was born in England. Thomas arrived on 24/03/1854 on the Victory. He married in the U.K. to Sarah Christina Andrews (30/03/1828-15/02/1899), the sister of Leticia Selby Andrews, who arrived on the same ship. Their children, except for the first three born at Blackwood or Bunbury, and were James Andrews (1846- 1929) born in England and died in Bridgetown, George (1848-1899) died in Bunbury, Thomas Henry (1850-) died in infancy in England, Elizabeth (1855 a twin -1896 in Blackwood), Amelia (1855 a twin -1947 in Bunbury), Letitia (1857-1941) died in Bunbury, Sarah Ann (1860-1918) died in Subiaco, William Henry (1862-1958) died in Perth, Avis Jane (1864-1941) died in Perth and Eliza (1866-1946) died in Bunbury. He was the Manager at "Wellington". Allnutt's property in the 1860s in Warren district. Listed as a Blackwood farmer in the 1870s. He employed a ticket of leave man in 1872 and applied for a Pastoral lease of 5553 acres at Blackwood in 1867. His wife conducted a wayside inn at "Mullalyup".
