MOUNT, Lionel Lambton

He and his brothers arrived on 14/12/1864 from Melbourne on Board the Aurifera with J. Orkney, and 11/12/1866 with Adam Lindsay Gordon on the Clutha. He went to Calcutta on 03/1870 on the Envoy. He took a cargo of sheep to Bunbury in 1866 with Gordon, who for the brief period was a flockmaster at Balingup. Went to the North West in 1866 exploring for pastoral land in de Grey district with brother Frank. In 1866/9 at Bunbury, he was a farmer and grazier. He had a leasehold in Nelson district. He employed 8 ticket of leave men and a carpenter in 1864 and 1869 .
